WHIPPET SNOOZING
Whippet Snoozing
Whippets are outstanding at snoozing and all sleep-related activities. By far their preferred style is sleeping in bed under the blankets in the winter; however they will also force themselves under the covers in the summer, radiating heat and breathing their hot breath into your armpit.

Whippets will also sleep on the sofa, in virtually any chair, and outside on lawn furniture. They enjoy basking in the sun and may lie in the same spot on the lawn for hours, drugging themselves into a stupor with sun and sleep. Many Whippets will also stuff themselves into small cat baskets, curling themselves up very tightly. No special breeding or training is required for this activity; however a soft cushion or blankie is mandatory.
If you must spend any amount of time in bed because of illness, or just a general tendency to sloth, then the Whippet is the breed for you!
