A note from Linda Waggoner who brought this art show to the 2008 National.
I really appreciate all the talented artists sending in their beautiful work for the art show.
This is the very first art show at an AWC National Specialty. I hope this will continue and become a tradition. I wish we had more awards to give out, as certain pieces should have received acknowledgement as they were wonderful works of art. We ended up with 78 entries. What a great way to start when some were concerned that we would only have a few entries. I want to say a heartfelt “thank-you” to the artists for sharing with us their beautiful art work. You helped make the Art Show one of the highlights of the National. If anyone would like to contact the artists, you can contact me and I will get you in touch with that person.
