(Ch. Starline’s Reign On JC, ROMX x Locar’s Créme de Cocao JC) DOB 6.21.95
 |
When we bred Julia to Reign in 1995, we had hoped for a nice bitch to carry on with. We got Amie, who, in addition to being lovely in mind and body, has also been able to pass on her quality. Bred twice, she is the dam of the two bitches pictured on the following page.
Out of her first litter by Betty Smith’s wonderful Select Ch. Idover Perfect Gentleman, Amie is also the dam of Ch. Milescross Matinee Idol of E, SC, who is major-pointed toward his AKC Dual Championship. Out of her second litter by the brindle Chip son Ch. Locar’s Clyde the Glide, she had the lovely Pie, in addition to several other equally gorgeous pups who are in companion-only homes.
Amie was dragged off the couch once in 2002, where her kids won her First in the AWC National Brood Bitch class, and once in 2003, where she floated to BOS in Veteran Sweepstakes at the NCWFA Specialty. She looks forward to meeting her grandchildren in 2004.

DOB 3.12.00
Our much-admired Pie is a lovely embodiment of the strengths of both sides of her pedigree. Her sound, balanced movement and classic type make her a fan favorite whenever she makes an appearance in the show ring. Don’t let her exotic brand of beauty fool you, however. Pie is a rough and tumble competitor in the field, whose agility and acceleration (and occasional spectacular crashes) keep the memory of her aunt Demi alive. She is part way to her AKC Field Championship and is working on her Racing Proficiency titles. We are looking forward to seeing the fruits of her breeding to our favorite fawn, Ch. Hamrya’s Honey Beee, JC, ROM, in 2004.
Co-owned & her litter is co-bred with Wendy Gay, Grand Prix Whippets.

(Ch. Idover Perfect Gentleman x
Ch. Milescross Elandan Sonnet, SC)
DOB 12.28.98
A cream fawn brindle with a classic look, Mysty has inherited lovely type from her mother Amie, as well as sound movement from her Plum-creek-pedigreed sire, Arnold. Shown infrequently, Mysty needs her majors. This little 19” dynamo also enjoys coursing and racing and, although she is not as fast as her 1/2 sister Pie, she always gives 110% in any chase. We hope to breed her to a complementary male late in 2004.
Co-owned with Delia Zarges and Melina Horvanski.

(MBIF Am.Can. Select Ch. Strebor’s Energize, LCM x Select Ch. Affinity Maybe Baby, LCM)

Willie and I took Best of Breed (71 dogs entered) under Mr. Kent Delaney
at St. Croix Valley Kennel Club. Willie and I have had an awesome year.
This year Willie ended up with over 100 breed points. We are all proud of Willie.

Willie discovered CWA this year. He only went a few times, but we enjoyed it.
We are looking forward to starting up again in the spring.

Willie did everything I asked of him for Juniors. We took several First placements over the year, with limited showing (because of my other love, hockey). I enjoy showing Willie because he listens to me and we work very well together.
