Multi BIF Cayman Island Rescue LCM 2

#7 ASFA Whippet
2000

The day I picked her up from the pound at 7 weeks, with her skull fractured and sinuses punctured, I had tears of sorrow in my eyes for this “throw away puppy”. Now, two years later, she brings tears to my eyes every time I see her run. She is 22lbs & 19.5” of pure heart and determination. Cayman, I love you.

Cayman is the only rescue whippet with an ILP # to get an LCM 2

Multi BIF Shadow Run Nike Air Jammin’ LCM

(Blarneystone Tyler LCM6 x Blarneystone Miss Dallas LCM)

Jam is pure power, strength and speed. Jam was #14 ASFA whippet 1999. At her very first NOTRA ever, she was in the Top 10. We have started agility & obedience, which she loves. Jam will be bred to a very special male in 2001. We hope to carry on her beauty, soundness, temperament and speed. She is CERF clear.

Thank you Jo & Glen Sowards. Continuing on the great BLARNEYSTONE tradition, thank you Bev & Mick McKibbin.

Griffin
Ch. Merci Isle Sleight of Hand, LCM, CD, SC, CR, CGC
(NSBIS Ch Merci Isle Meridian, JC, ROMX x DC Merci Isle I See Delight, LCM)

We are very proud of Griffin’s accomplishments during 2000. At the National Specialty in Greensburg, PA, he placed third in his FCh stake at the ASFA trial, second in his Novice A class at the obedience trial, and finished third out of 29 in the triathlon.

photo J.McCord

In August, Griffin completed his third leg in obedience, thus earning his Companion Dog title. With bitches in season at home, it was a true test of our teamwork!

photo N.Perry

He was unable to run in field events this season due to a shoulder injury, but we hope he can compete lightly in 2001.

MBIS Am/Can Ch SnowRose Wild Thing
BIS Ch Shilo’s Houdini v Hasue X Photoplays I’m Zee Best

2000 has proven to be another wonderful year for Nell. She has continued to show well and is in the Top Twenty in Group point for her third consecutive year. She not only had several Group wins and placements in 2000, but went Best Brood Bitch at an AWC Supported Entry and added her Canadian Championship to her name. She will continue to be shown on a very limited basis in 2001 while waiting to be bred and adjusting to the idea of retirement. She is currently watching her daughters, from her ‘99 breeding to ch Whimsy’s The Single Guy JC, follow in her footsteps.

BEST IN SHOW
NATIONAL SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOW

Ch. Hamrya's Lucky Charm ROM ex SBIS Ch. Ringmaster's Gold Fever ROM

Brie topped the largest National Specialty ever from the 10 and over Veteran class. This was her second BOB at the AWC National, her first coming under Mrs. Joan Frailey in 1994. We are so proud and deeply honored that breeder/judge, Mrs. Joan Goldstein found Brie worthy of this win again, as a 10 year old veteran.

We wish to thank everyone for their incredible support of Brie, and special thanks to Mary Dukes for piloting Brie to her second National win. We could not be more proud of Brie, a once in a lifetime bitch, who never gives less than 110% of herself in the
showering and at home where we cherish her as our family member.

Ch. Starline's Tapestry, our lovely Lucy, had two more children achieve their championships in 2000, CH. STARLINE'S BAYEUX TAPESTRY (by Reign), and CH. STARLINE'S STRIKE A POSE, pictured above (by AM. CAN. Ch. Nasusa Cacique).

She also showed for the first time from the Veterans class at the GSDWA Specialty, and was awarded a "Select" award.

Watch for Lucy's very promising new litter, AUST. CH. STATUESQUE EXTORTION (by Reign). 4 of the 5 puppies are already pointed, including multiple BOB's from the puppy classes !

This year Brie had her 9th Champion finish,
CH. STARLINE'S AMBER LEGEND, pictured above.

He is sired by the incredible Ch. Saxon Shore Amber Waves.

Watch for "Legend's" ultra-typey sister,
STARLINE'S AMBER GOLD, pictured at top,
who is on her way to her championship as well.

We Congratulate:

Ed and Mary Jean Odron on their great accomplishments in the year 2000 with BIS, SBIS Ch. Starline's Masterpiece.

Remy represents the true whippet type we strive to breed for. His classic curves and effortless movement, have been rewarded consistently by breeder judges throughout the country. We look forward to another great year in 2001 with Remy

Sire of 3 Select winners at the 2000 AWC National:
