Thank you David Samuelson for my foundation bitch Sheena! Her two daughters from her first litter sired by “Martin” have proven themselves as wonderful dual purpose bitches. Her son by “Martin” is a Canadian Champion, Canadian CD, major pointed in the U.S. and has all his placements towards his ASFA FCH.
We are excited about her second litter sired by Select Ch. Hamrya’s Honey Beee. I have retained two bitches from this litter that are a lovely combination of these two beautiful dogs.

Lucy had a very good year! She finished 1998 as #2 CWA Conformation Dog, right behind his sister Sian, and also finished her TRP (Title of Racing Proficiency) and her ASFA Field Championship.
Lucy is pointed in the breed ring, with a Best of Breed, and received class placements at the AWC National Specialty and the Midwest Specialty.
Sound, beautiful, smart and athletic sums it up for Lucy and Sian, and is what I am striving for in my breeding program.

We are proud of our houndy, smooth moving Sian. She is #1 CWA* Conformation dog for 1998! She also completed her TRP (Title of Racing Proficiency) and needs only 2 more Conformation First Placements for her DPC (Dual Purpose Championship).
Sian finished her ASFA Field Championship with Multiple Best of Breeds. Although rarely shown, she has a class placement at the Midwest Specialty and 2 major Reserves.
Her enthusiastic personality makes her everyone’s favorite. We just love her! A special thank you to Krista Siehndel for her wonderful job of presenting Sian!

of the selective breeding program of Mdme KAREN MESAVAGE. We thank her for allowing this beautiful young man to live and be loved in our home. Rikki has already proven himself in the show ring in very limited showing before he reached the age of one, with a multitude of points, and Best of Breeds over group winning specials. He exemplifies the wonderful correct type and balance of the whippet which is displayed in his beautiful outline and movement. His name in French translated to “I am listening”. “Hope” (Ch. Sportingfields Blonde Bombshell) has done everything she could to accommodate me by giving me five beautifully marked girls and three “complete” boys. I feel so blessed!
A special thank you to Debbie Butt and Sportingfield, who created, co-bred and co-owns this wonderful litter, for without her and the incomparable breeding of Sportingfield, these puppies would not exist.
With all the trials and tribulations of the dog show world, whelping and watching babies grow is one of my most precious joys.

A larger version of her #1 mom “Pearl”, she shared the spotlight with cousin “Guy”
and still became a Top 10 Whippet, all at less than 2 years old. All breeder-owner-handled!!

BLAKE
Blake has been everything I could ask for in a whippet - typy, sound and sane. He was Best Puppy in Match at the Lehigh Valley KC Super Match when he was just 4 months old. He went BOB his first show at 6 months 3 days old for a major and the did it again (over 7 specials) the next weekend at his second show picking up his second major as well. With very limited showing, he needed just four singles to finish when a fall out of a bed ended his show career and left him partially paralyzed. Although he will never be able to complete his championship he remains the perfect companion and I look forward to seeing his children in the ring.
