We’re looking forward to 1997 with a line breeding planned to Ch. Oakhurst Midas Touch (SBIS Ch. Delecreme de la Renta, ROMX x Ch. Saxon Shore Kandi Kane (a Jason sister), as well as lots more coursing.

The Thirteenth AWC Futurity was held on Tuesday, April 16, 1996 at the Sheraton-Burlington Conference Center, Burlington, Vermont. Mrs. Carolyn Mountan judged 108 entries. Robin Barry did the beautiful artwork for the Futurity Catelog cover and graciously donated the original framed work to be auctioned at the Awards Banquet. A “Past Futurity and Maturity Parade” was held preceding the judging of Best in Futurity. The Best in Futurity winner received $723.91.
The AWC National Specialty and Futurity, April 16-21, 1996 was held at the Sheraton Hotel, Burlington, Vermont. Regular class judge Mrs. Julie Hoim judged 113 class dogs, 169 class bitches, 11 junior handlers, 90 specials, and 81 non-regular classes. Ms. Carol Willumsen judged 28 Veteran Sweepstakes. Mr. Ken Buxton judged 47 obedience entries.
