The spring of 1996 marks our 10th year involved with this wonderful breed. We were very fortunate to acquire "Dolly" from Lee and Deann Christianson and could not have found a better foundation than her. None of her Best in Shows or Best in Field wins can compare with the joy she has brought into our lives, both through her offspring and her companionship. She is a true ambassador for the breed. THANK YOU LEE AND DEANN.

We are very excited about our two youngsters, "Beau" and "Cindy". Their pedigrees combine some of the best whippets in the country, both in the field and in the show ring. We feel these youngsters represent what we're looking for in true dual purpose whippets. "Erica" (Ch. Blu Passion) will be bred again this summer and we're looking forward to another spectacular litter.

Being the "guy on the go" that he is, "Burnie" has had quite a busy year. Aside from occasional appearances in the show ring, Burnie has enjoyed lure coursing, flyball, obedience and - his all time favorite - Frisbee, at which he is a pro. He also took a quick trip to Canada and earned his championship along with three Group ('s and a Best-In-Show (special thanks to David Markus, Aikerskaill).

Like any good father, Burnie always has time for his kids and is very proud of their achievements also. His first three litters include ten champions (so far), multiple group placers, a group winner, an Am/Can champion and numerous breed wins over top specials.

(Nat'l SBIS Ch. Merci Isle Meridian, JC x Merci Isle Slack Heart, SC)

"Jinx" has had a banner year, both on the field and in the breed ring. Having competed in nearly 20 field trials, she's well on her way to her LCM and AKC field championship. At season's end, she won a very exciting 5 point major and B.O.B. in an AWC AKC Specialty Trial. Her excellent breed type and superior side gait have earned her several points in the breed ring, as well. We look forward to continued success in 1996.
