Cher Che Wind of Change 0 TnT, SC, LCM - "Hobo" 1995 ASFA # Top Ten Whippet with over 275 dogs defeated. 3 BIF and 8 BOB. In the ring Hobo has I major and 2 singles to his credit. AKC Lure Coursing this talented hound has 2 majors and 12 points to his credit. This has been a great year for such a young dog. Co-owner: Glenda Durance Bottom row, left to right: DCh Jetstreams Lap of Luxury - "Honey" Miss Honey is the first Jetstream Whippet to become a Dual Cham pion. She had a busy schedule. both in the ring and on the field. Honey had four group placements in conformation and is AKC's #9 Top Ten Lure Coursing Whippet. FCh TnT's Jumpin Jack Flash, SC, CD, LCM IV - "J.J." While officially retired from the Top Ten Lure Coursing competition. JJ has 5 BOB and 3 BIF's to his 1995 credit. This year JJ completed his CD in four trials. His first leg was at the AWC National and he received a second place. JJ received sixth place in the First AWC Triathalon. What can we say about this little dog. They say that whatever you name your dog is who and what your dog will be, and Moe has really lived up to his name of The Joker. The joke has really been on us; this little dog only ran half time up to September, at that time we started running him two days and he went from #7 position to #1 in three short months. As well as becoming the first Whippet to win the AKC National Championship. All of this and more at the age of two. We plan to spend time working on his CD and, of course, he will enjoy more time making music in the sun as he chases his bunnies in 1996.

Eric needed only a placement for his ASFA field championship when he was injured by a car. After his recovery, he started his show carreer. He has consistently been in the ribbons at specialties and supported entries. The things we love most about our boy are his easy going temperament, his exceptional, smooth shoulders (judges noticed!) which carry through to his long, beautifully arched tail, his depth of body and his great sighthound instincts. Whelped May 2,1995, by the handsome and functional Group placing Ch. Wheatland Rico Suave, SC, FCh, out of our BIF FCh Marial Palmeridge Pepperdine, SC, FCh, DPC, ARX, TRP. Pepper Shaker is a substantial, masculine dog who has his dam's sweet but serious disposition. Sweet Pepper is quite sound and quite a bundle of energy! At 4 and 5 months of age, she earned a Reserve Best Puppy in Match at Waukesha Kennel Club's sanctioned all-breed match and a Best Puppy in Match and Best of Opposite Sex in Match at The Continental Whippet Alliances first annual fun match for whippets, judged by Mrs. Pat Murphy, Oklara Borzoi. Both pups are keen on the lure.
The sweetest and most charming gentleman in all dogdom.

Smitty's back! Well, in North American, anyway. He's packing his bags now for a quick visit to Canada. Home with Mom and the family was just too boring after eight months with Saulo and the Silkrock girls in Brazil. With him, Smitty brings a new title. "Sarah" is a daughter of the famous Ch. Saxon Shore Amber Waves, ROMX. In 1995, she really did make us happy being #1 Whippet!!! She even won the two largest Sighthound Specialties under breed specialists. Her puppies have done extremely well this year: Ch. Autumn Sky At Dawn (by Ch. Terra Bella Battimano) won the CC and BOS at the Nordic Winner Show in Sweden and Woodbrook's What's Up, Woodbrook's Got To Get It and Woodbrook's Run To You (by Ch. Chelhalem's Mr. Good Bar, FCh) need only one more CC to be finished. A litter is planned for Sarah in 1996.
