CAN. CH. RINGO'S SONNY DAZE OF COURSE, AM. & CAN. F.CH.

Taking after her lovely mother, Am. Ch. Bardon Faded Finery, Daisy finished her Canadian show title easily, with a Group 2nd from the classes. Specialed lightly, she won two strong Hound Group 1st. Daisy has American points, including one major.

Daisy started running at 4 years of age, and showing some of the speed of her famous father, Ch. Emberson of Course ARM, she finished both her Can and Am. Field Ch. in 12 months. No easy feat, considering she took time out to present us with a lovely litter of six. She is currently tied as Canada's number two lure coursing whippet.

We would like to thank all the Can. and Am. whippets, especially those in Calif., for giving Daisy the thrill of competing with them. Special thanks to Ken and Vanelle Reynolds, for all their help and encouragement.

Watch for Daisy's offspring, Swiftsure Happy Daze, Arthur's Legacy and Ragtime Galatea, by our Am. Can.Ch. Marial's King Arthur -- they're worth watching for !!

STONEY MEADOWS BLUE MOON

Pictured winning BOB (over Special) at Fayetteville Kennel Club, under Lt. Col. Wallace Pede, handled by Anna Petree.

With Puppy Class wins at the 1976 Eastern & Midwestern Specialties, Dolly came to live with us. Since that time, she and Anna have taken a Best In Match and on the same day, Anna, age 11, was selected best Jr. Handler in Match.

Dolly has 8 points, including a 4 pt. major and a BOB over a special. In the Jr. Showmanship ring, Anna and Dolly have several wins.

Besides being an elegant showman, Dolly is a delightful house pet. Thank you, Mrs. Wear, for entrusting her to us.

CH. WESTGATE THE FORTUNE TELLER

" SHADOW " REMEMBER ME ?

A litter sister to Ch. Westgate The Ch. Westgate Sorcerer,
The Astrologer and Ch. Westgate The Sorceress.

I've been retired awhile, devoting my time to being a "family member", and to earning the title of 4-H Obedience Champion in Tulare County two years in a row.

Show photo was taken at 14 months ---at 4 years now, I'm living proof ---"we don't get older, we get better.

"Shadow" will soon be bred to Ch. Arrian's Topaz 'N Gold Dust. And how do you spell this breeding? REACH, BALANCE, MOVEMENT! (and ROLAIDS if it's "no show").

"QUIN" also has completed half of the requirements for his Mexican Championship, by taking the Breed both days at Mexicali Shows. Then a Group ! under Australian Judge, Mr. Alex W. Price and a Group III under Mrs. Cynthis Guzevich.

"QUIN" our first home-bred champion, is also ARM pointed plus being in training for his C.D.. A polite, well mannered pet, a protective watch-dog and a bed-mate for my seven tear old son, he exemplifies all the traits that are desired in any dog.

Finished at the American Whippet Club Midwest Specialty August 28, 1977. Going BOW and BOS over Specials under noted breeder-judge, Margaret Newcombe. Who is quoted as writing, - " My BOW and BOS was my winners dog who is truly all Whippet, he is sound as a bell with no pastern or shoulder problem, he is a keen dog with a lovely temperament as he did not wilt with the heat and gave his all right to the end. He is what all of us should look for as he, I'm sure, will be a quality stud dog, a great showman and am sure he can run because he is all heart."

It has been a good year for Royal Look Kennels. Edward finished his championship, won a number of breeds and had some group placements. He is shown winning breed at Rio Grande, New Mexico under breeder-judge Pat Speight.

SHELDEGREN SKIP

SHELDEGREN SKIP, bounded into our home in August, thanks to Pete Duggins, then stranger, now friend and
breeder Janet Koch, a fine lady.

We got Skip for a house pet and he has become our resident clown prince, with a range of moods and personalities that would do justice to a Broadway actor.

Of course, it is during his daily run in a nearby park with his best friend, Charlie (my son), that he really comes into his own, as you can see by the picture.

Charlie and I are delighted with this whimsical creature, and so glad to join those of you who already know what a super addition to the family a Whippet can be.
