SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM GROVENOR
SOUNDNESS - CLASSIC - ELEGANCE - TRUE GAIT

PAWL IS ORANGE - HOT

Back in the ring to do his thing, as only PAWL can — with a loose lead over his shoulders, he shows himself to many great wins.

The littermate double grandsons of Ch. Mor-Shor's Whirlaway . . . PAWL-Ch. Grovenor's Bold 'N Brassy & PETER --Grovenor's Fame 'N Fortune

PAWL has 6 recent BOB's, including an AWC supported entry and 3 breeds over current BIS winning dogs. No judge knows us or our dogs and PAWL's 18 breed wins have all been under different judges. PETER has added some points to his collection and both will soon be joined in the ring by . . .

. . . their first children who are about to impact into the showring in this 4 state area and Texas. We have some really top rate and better get of theirs for sale:

Some super quality show puppies by Pawl & the beautiful Harbridge Ravendune Rhapsody are now available in Wisconsin . . . contact me or Marsha Myers (715) 732-0383 . . . we have one whole litter of 5 gorgeous bitches bred with 4 crosses to Whirlaway for sale — Pawl and lovely Canterbury Nutmeg have produced these elegant, big girls . . .

. . . one fabulous male who is 6 months old — ready to show and win and to be an asset to anyone's breeding program. Absolutely sound and perfect moving — with an especially long, lean head, brisket to the elbows and with Pawl's love of showing, too — Dunvaegan Satinwood, a pretty Leisure daughter who also ties to our Betony & Falcon, is his dam and he has 4 out of 4 show sisters.

. . . a special bitch — my "pick" out of my litter of 4 top pups — a Pitt out of Prune and the great Ricky son who is her grandmother's litterbrother . . .

. . there will be new litters soon by both Peter and Pawl in Pa., Ohio & Michigan. All from lovely bitches of people who have been zapped by the individual and total litter quality of the get these boys are producing.

. . . Plum, Prune, Peter & Pawl are by Ch. Mor-Shor's Bold 'N Brave (Ch. Mor-Shor's Whirlaway-Ch. Stoney Meadows Imp of Satan) x Ch. Grovenor's Miss Chiff-her litter sister is BOS Ch. Seyberne's Sunshine of Usher (Ch. Mor-Shor's Whirlaway-Seyberne's Lady Guinevere CD). The P's great grandfathers are Ch. Greenbrae Barn Dance (double) Ch. Stoney Meadows Bold Chance and Ch. Courtenay Fleetfoot of Pennyworth.

Peter & Paul & their inbred banks of genes are at stud to approved bitches.

RINGO'S ALCYON PIE IN THE SKY

"Y.P."

Y.P. is the first of what we hope will be many dual purpose Alcyon Whippets. He has points toward his American bench championship and has shown flashes of considerable speed on the track. We're looking forward to next year.

Doris Ringer has kindly consented to lease us our all time favorite Whippet bitch, Ch. Bardon Faded Finery, and she is to be closely linebred to Ch. Illig's Duke of Wyndsor with a litter hopefully due in early spring. Inquiries are invited.

DRESS CIRCLE KENNEL

1974 Progress Report

IT'S A RIP- OFF

Pictured is three-month old Dress Circle Rip-Off (a sharp red brindle) and his sister Fancy (very white) (Dress Circle Follow Me, now owned and loved by Bob and Margie Theiss of St. Louis) at a puppy match, learning what to do in the show ring.

Rip learned well. At six months and one week, he went Winners Dog from the six to nine month puppy class at the AWC Eastern Specialty at Westbury, Long Island on Sunday, September 29th under breeder-judge Norman Ellis.

This fall we completed the championship with four majors, owner-handled, on one of our favorite dogs, Dress Circle Supercharger, a striking black brindle. And Ch. Dress Circle Buccaneer was high-scoring Novice B dog at the MahoningShenango Show at Youngstown, Ohio in August on his way to earning his Companion Dog Degree. Dress Circle Natural Wonder picked up a major this summer at the Trumball County show, and his sister, Trudy-Dress Circle This Above All, was shown to a major win by her new owners, Bob and Charlotte Hammett of West Virginia, at the Licking River show this fall.

Our No. 1 stud dog, Ch. Bettebrook Benchmark, is still going strong. Three more of his get finished their conformation championships this summer, and at this point, he has now sired three ARM Champions, with a fourth well on the way to her ARM. And this fall, Gene and Dona Helton of Fairfield, Ohio repeated the breeding of Volant Big Red Machine ARM and Volant Buckeye Express ARM, so next summer there should be some fast puppies running in Ohio.

Seasons Greetings

From Whippoorwill

Ch. Whitbarrow Parsley

"Dill" was the first of our whippets to be finished in '74. She is our lovely red brindle and white English import. Her soundness and style made her a fine showgirl, her sweet temperament a pleasant companion. She was bred to Ch. Blue Fox of Whippoorwill. Her six boys and two girls were born October 21.

Ch. Blue Fox of Whippoorwill

"Jamie" was the next to finish his championship. He's a striking white with blue markings and was handled throughout most of his show career and is now being specialed by his co-owner, Bill Maseth, of Timonium, Maryland. Jamie is Barndance's 46th champion.

Ch. Proud Fox of Whippoorwill

"Jason" finished his championship in September. Shown only a few months, Jason's quality made him a frequent winner. Jason is the 51st champion to be sired by Ch. Greenbrae Barndance.
