Grinner has enriched the lives of her many friends in the last five years, and her future looks full of the special boy-dog kind of love about which stories are written. Grinner was my son, Tory's, pup and he taught her to be an avid frisbee dog. During those years, we shared her with my young friend, Tracy Lucast, who showed her very successfully in juniors, including Best Junior Handler at the Houston KC. That win qualified Tracy for the World Series of Junior Showmanship and won her a free trip to California. When Tory left for college, Chad Bittman bought Grinner with his saved money to be his forever. Chad now shows her to advantage in junior showmanship, with a hint now and then from Tracy. Chad also started conditioning and lure-coursing Grinner, and he stuck it out through a whole season of losses. The next season Grinner finished her ASFA Field Championship with greatly improved endurance and a speed remembered from her youth. Your whole 'family' is proud of you, Grinner, and here's your picture to prove it! You're a Great Whippet.
