"Walter's" first season of lure coursing resulted in 6 BOB's and a BIF in 12 meets. He obtained his Field Championship in 4 meets and is well on his way to his LCM with 3 firsts and 190 points. For the season, he defeated 142 dogs and was defeated by only 10.

"Chad" has two BlSweeps under his belt. The first was his first time in a show ring at the SCWA Sanctioned B Match under Betty Wolkonsky (Folquin) when he was three months old. The second was an AWC Supported entry at Portland KC under Debbie Butt Giles (Sporting Fields). "Chad" went on to finish with 3 majors (one a 4 pointer). "Chad" covers a lot of ground, both standing and moving. He excels in front fill, a beautiful free moving, reachy front and a beautiful head. He is proven at stud. "Chad" is owned by Chelsea.
"Marlena"' finished easily in California competition. She won both of her majors out of the Bred-By class. She, as her brother, stands over a lot of ground. She is "houndy" and feminine all in a beautiful orange brindle package. A linebreeding is planned for her in 1990. "Marlena" is owned by Dianne Bowen, co-owned with Chelsea.
Both of these littermates are sired by BIS Ch. Shilo's Houdini V Hasue, FCh. and are out of Ch. Chelsea Saffron.

"Lisa" oozes breed-type and is proving herself to be a producer of quality. Watch for her first litter by "Select" Ch. Chelsea Mesmorize; they will be serious contenders for 1990. "Lisa" was co-bred with Donna Martin and is owned by Joetta K. Melton.

"Dolly" is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the Midwest. She is a multiple Hound Group winner as well as an AKC BIS winner and a Bahammian BIS winner. She is truly a dual purpose Whippet, as she is a Field Champion who is working on her LCM. "Dolly" is owned by Suzanne and Wayne Stoll and Jeff and Lori Wilson.
"Diva" made a smashing Specialty debut by going Best Puppy In Show at the SCWA Show when she was 7 months old. She also won her large puppy class that day. She had bigger things in store for us as the highlight of her show career was when she captured BEST IN FUTURITY as an 11 month old puppy under respected breeder Dr. Barbara Henderson. This win is a breeder's dream come true. "Diva's" outlook on life is so charming she thinks all of the"show biz" is secondary to her daily romps in the park with friends. She is owned by Kerri McDonald and co-owned with Chelsea.
"Higgins" was shown in Open a total of 6 times and was finished. He completed his title with four majors, the most impressive being an AWC Supported entry for 5 points the day after the Eastern Specialty. "Higgins" excels in breed-type, with a gorgeous head and neck, his "soft" expression has won him many fans. He is proudly owned by Dr. Barbara Henderson and Syl Rozny.
The above littermates are sired by AmCanCh. Surrey Hill's Houston, FCh., ROM and are out of AmCanCh. Chelsea Coriander Wind born.
"PANDA" doesn't play games! This sound, sensible, affectionate youngster has done very well in his first 13 months.

two seconds, one first, 100 points, CAN. FIELD CH. November 25, 26 - Seattle, WA; American debut; two firsts, 68 points.
"Panda" needs only one point to complete his Can. Bench Ch. "Panda" and his littermates look forward to completing these endeavors and trying out whippet racing, the oval track and perhaps the American show scene in 1990.

Benjamin went HIT at the third AWC National at Dallas in April 1989.
He qualified for the Gaines Midwest Regional at Des Moines in June 1989
and the Detroit-Windsor World Series at Detroit in July 1989.
He also qualified (with an average score of 195 or better) for the prestigious
Gaines Classic in Chicago over Thanksgiving weekend.

Ringdove Quasar, RCh was unable to race in '89 due to a nail bed infec tion, then torn ligaments in a front foot. We are hopeful he will return to the track in 1990. Quasar sired a nice litter out of Winsome Robin Banks, ARM, ORC, (Top NPR, Bitch 1985-7). These pups just ran very well in their first puppy race. |
