CHAPARRAL is extremely proud of this exciting young Whippet. CORY has the most loving, outgoing temperament, a crazy sense of fun; topped off with excellent conformation and outstanding move­ ment. All of this has earned her 12 points, both majors, two Best of Breed wins, a Group placement, and numerous major reserve wins, all from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class.

An excellent courser, CORY earned her F.Ch. in five trials, and is well on her way to her LCM. CORY also loves obedience, and will maker her Novice debut in 1989!

CORY's mother, SOLO, will be bred on her next season.

CORY is co-owned with Louanne Hennessy - my sister, who is CHAPARRAL's official "puppy midwife".

Showing the promise of his outstanding pedigree, Damian finished his championship before his first birthday, garnering three Bests of Breed and four majors - all from puppy and bred-by exhibitor classes!

His specials career looks equally exciting and was off to a great start in 1988 - Watch for him in 1989, when he will be joined in the show ring by his sisters: Canadian Champion lyindi's Terrace Hill Adryn and lyindi's Terrace Hill Amy.

The RESERVE WINNER'S BITCH win at the 1987 American Whippet Club Southern Specialty, under breeder- judge Cliff Thompson, is one to be proud of, for sure, but in 1988, Suzannah didn't stop there and captured the WINNER'S BITCH spot for 5 points! The judge in 1988 was Larry T. Shaw. After a heart-stopping string of FIVE 5-point Reserve wins, it was a WONDERFUL win!!

We are also proud to have co-bred TN WOOD'S ELYSIAN BEST MAN, who won RESERVE WD at the Specialty, owned, shown and co-bred by Joan and Nelson Layne. AND ... we are extremely proud to have co-bred the brindle puppy, CHERCHE TAKE ME ON, who won BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES under breeder-judge Iva Cottrell­Kimmelman. This puppy was co-bred by Chris Durance and is proudly owned by Glenda Durance.

(In 1989, we have plans for a litter out of Suzannah's pointed sister, ELYSIAN EVANGELINE, to be sired by 124 Suzannah's spectacular son, ELYSIAN FORTUNE HUNTER. Watch for these youngsters!)

At just 5 1/2 months of age, her first time in the ring, "Skeeter" was named the 1988 GRAND FUTURITY WINNER under breeder-judge Cora N. Miller, over a record entry of 179!! Her second time in the ring she garnered a 4- point Reserve Winner's Bitch placement and the next two days won large puppy classes at the M.A.W.A. AWC Supported show (judge Dr. Robert Indeglia) and at the American Whippet Club Southern Specialty (judge Larry T. Shaw).
